Queen Elizabeth Stadium | 2025 Asian Eastern Zonal Women's Volleyball Championship Begins in August

Description

The "2025 Asian Eastern Zonal Women's Volleyball Championship", organized by the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China, will be held from 26 to 31 August, 2025, at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong. Following the events in 2014 and 2024, this marks the third time Hong Kong hosting this prestigious Asian Eastern Zonal volleyball tournament.

The competition will feature six teams, including host Hong Kong, China, along with China, Korea, Macau, China, Mongolia, and Chinese Taipei. The top teams will battle through the group stage to advance to the knockout rounds and vie for the championship title!

Over six action-packed days, the tournament will showcase 11 thrilling matches. The group stage will run from 26–28 August, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-finals on 30 August. The winners will then face off in the final on 31 August.

Hosts Hong Kong, China will be in Group A, compete against Chinese Taipei and Mongolia for a semi-final berth. Meanwhile, defending champion China will face Macau, China and Korea in Group B.

Ticket sales will open on Friday, 1 August, at 10:00AM via Urbtix. Daily tickets for group stage matches are priced at HK$60, while semi-final and final tickets are priced at HK$150 and HK$100 respectively.
